Radiesse and
Sculptra

Volume loss replacement

My first line treatment for facial filling and treatment for volume loss has been
New-fill now called, Sculptra for the past 7 years. It remains one of my favourites as it safely delivers volume slowly over a period of time and encourages tightening and improved skin texture.

Another option now is Radiesse. It stimulates neo-collagenesis but also provides an instant result for those patients who can’t wait for delayed Collagen growth. I am using this cautiously until I become more familiar with it but so far I am impressed with it.

Juvederm

The new Hyaluronic Acid Filler taking the world by storm

Juvederm was released in Europe and the USA some years ago and at last in Australia in February last year. Having used it now for 12 months I am happy to say that results with Juvederm will last 6 to 9 months and maybe longer.

Lips look beautiful and natural with Juvederm. With it lasting better it makes filling and
creating cheeks and filling out cheek hollows a lot more viable.

From my experience Juvederm seems to cause less downtime than other
Hyaluronics and seems to cause less bruising in some patients which always helps.

Restylane Lipp and Restylane Vital

Restylane Lipp is a new product in the Restylane range specifically designed for the lips. It is said to be more durable yet softer.

Restylane Vital is another newbie in the Restylane family and I have been using a bit of it. It has proven to be really good for those fine areas. Areas such as crepy cheeks and crowsfeet, under the eyes, the neck, the décolletage and the backs of hands have responded really well to Vital.
